Always ask yourself how you can help those who can’t speak for themselves

In Grade 9, Summer K., from Ontario, Canada, created an outstanding project in her geography class! She followed an inquiry process, meaning she constructed her own question that she chose to explore during the unit on factory farming.

Summer learned about the great physical and emotional harm factory farming was causing animals, so her question became, “What could be done differently when it comes to the farming of animals for human consumption?”

She then examined the differences between natural farming (the right side of her project), and factory farming (left side of her project).  Excellent work, Summer!
